Lagerstroemia indica is a widely grown ornamental shrub or small tree that has become naturalised and invasive in many tropical subtropical regions of the world. often used to provide shade around parking areas, for median strip plantings along roads, also planted domestic gardens (CABI, 2019). The was introduced 2007 improve landscaping Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Between August October 2020, powdery mildew symptoms were observed on leaves twigs L. parks green areas Tashkent. Symptoms more prominent young compared with older twigs. Samples collected from affected parts trees either fresh stored dry as herbarium material until analysis, described by Heluta (1989). Herbarium specimens (TASM 9001, TASM 9002, 9003, 9004) deposited Tashkent Mycological (TASM) Institute Botany Academy Sciences, Republic Dense white effuse, amphigenous mycelial patches present inflorescences (Fig. 1). Chasmothecia, conidiophores conidia measured oil immersion, using Moticam 5N-300M microscope at magnification up ×400. Conidiophores erect, hyaline, 56–85 × 7–10 μm. Foot cells cylindrical, sometimes slightly flexuous, followed 1–2 shorter cells. Conidia formed singly, cylindrical ellipsoid, 28–35 14–21 Fibrosin bodies absent. Chasmothecia scattered, brown, 55 – 60 μm diameter, appendages equatorial, 75–80 long, walls thin, smooth, apices loosely tightly uncinate˗circinate, not enlarged 2).
